Why “Atisa”?
A name rooted in purpose, place, and possibility.
When it came to naming this consultancy, I wanted something that carried meaning, something that reflected my values, my journey, and the place I call home.
Atisa is a Setswana word meaning “to multiply,” “to increase,” or “to do something consistently.” It’s a word grounded in intention, not about speed, but about sustainable momentum.
It speaks to nurturing growth, building consistency, and expanding what’s already working with thought and clarity. That resonated deeply with me. After taking time out to pause and reflect on my next chapter, I knew that whatever came next had to be intentional. Atisa captured that energy perfectly. Choosing a Setswana word was also a deliberate choice, a way to root the business in Botswana, both culturally and linguistically. This is where my story continues, and it felt right to build something that honours that grounding. Atisa Consulting is about multiplying potential ~ in businesses, in people, and in ideas. That’s what the name represents. And that’s what we stand for.

A Business Built With Intention
After 15 years in Africa’s luxury tourism industry, I stepped away from a leadership role to take stock and breathe. I gave myself eight months to rest, recalibrate and think about what mattered most in the way I wanted to work.
What emerged was Atisa: a consulting business grounded in strategic clarity, human connection, and long-term thinking. It’s a space where I can bring my experience to the table, partner with people I admire, and help businesses grow in ways that feel considered, structured, and meaningful.
